Le Ching - Banawe

Le Ching is my favorite lunch food when having a break from the office.

These are the only 2 dishes that i would order from them...

Wanton Noodle Soup - Php 109
- their soup is so tasty (vestin-y.. haha) that I can drink all of it! I would usually put their ever so fragrant chili sauce in the soup and make soy sauce, calamansi and chili sauce dip for the wantons. Wanton's fillings are full of shrimps!

Chicken Feet!
- Loved how they marinated this dish! although it has red coloring that sometimes makes your lips red too, the sweet, salty, spicy sauce is very rich!

C.O.K. (Culinary Out Kast) - Banawe near Starbucks

Seems like only few people still knows this place. Although it's located along Banawe but it's already near Sgt. Rivera. My family tried this last Sunday at around 6:30pm and we were the only customer at that time. The place looks like they cater for the 'tambays'. They have wi-fi, TV, and magazines to read while waiting for the orders.

The waiter told us that their specialties are pizza and pasta....

Anyway here's what we ordered....
Soup of the day - Chunky tomato soup.... Tasted like tomato salsa but of good tangy taste.

Seafood coconut cream pasta - unsure of the name of the dish. Not bad but not the food that you would really crave for.

Carbonara

Pepperoni Pizza - too few pepperoni on the pizza

Ribs in Bourbon Sauce - quite good but wanted to have more Bourbon sauce! Meat is tender but somehow I found fatty.

Salisbury Steak - It had too much extenders. Texture is soft / starchy? Not worth it.

Cheesy baked fish - Dory fish rubbed with italian seasoning. So-so but because of news regarding dory fish fillets. I'm starting to avoid dishes that has dory fish fillet in it..

My dad and sis ordered bottomless iced tea. They have the choice of raspberry and lemon. Tasted the raspberry and it tasted good! I believed they used Lipton's flavored teabag. This is worth it.

Bistecca - Joya Drive, Rockwell

Bistecca! one of the restaurants who really knows how to cook steak! YUMYUM~ This place is usually fully booked and fortunately, the one who invited me and my sister is a VIP. They made us a table on the second floor even though they were fully booked already...

For our starter, they have given us bread while waiting but we had Fried Brie with Blueberry Sauce! Combination of the cheese and the fruity sauce was so good that you can't describe it! It's so superb! Brie is deep fried with nuts, I think it's walnuts.

Followed by Southern BBQ Prawns which had also an excellent sauce! 4 pcs of prawns were not enough for us though! haha..

Bistecca alla Fiorentina! 1.4 kg+/- of porterhouse! It's still tasty and juicy! They serve condiments like 3 kinds of salt, and 2 kinds of mustard and horseradish. One of the best steaks I ever had since Antonio's at Tagaytay! I believe that it is in this restaurant whose chef doesn't want to give the guest worcestershire steak sauce. But then you really don't need it at all!

Truffle Fries!!! Who wouldn't resist the truffle oil and parmesan cheese ?!

Brocolli and Cauliflower in Morney sauce. This veggie is a little bit overcooked for me.. I like mine .. CRUNCHY but not raw.

I would definitely go to Bistecca again and again!
