Gumbo - Sm The Block

They serve bread with roasted garlic oil dip. Quite like it, for a first timer... Usually I would dip mine like Italianni's style balsamic and olive oil.

New Orlean's Buffalo Wings - nah.. Wings N' Things' has the best buffalo wings for me so far... these wings are like grilled not fried crispy. I like their bleu cheese dip though!

Calamares and on top is the drink we ordered. It's berry lemonade. Has quite unique taste and you could feel some strawberry flesh in the drink.

Half slab baby back ribs with choice of 2 side dishes. We chose mashed potatoes (chunky) and corn. The meat is not that moist and tender. But the taste is good.

and lastly, SEAFOOD JAMBALAYA!!! I really really really love this one! although mussels and clams' meat are tiny. the flavor of their jambalaya is tasty.

We got to bring home their pork chop dish for free c/o of EASTWEST credit card if your bill is P3,000 up.

HSBC's promo CPK's Chicken Adobo Pizza

I missed HSBC's promo of free Starbucks drink! For this period, they offer CPK. For Php 5,000+ worth of a single charge slip you would get a free of their chicken adobo...

Pizza is good, but not the thing you would crave for. This has lots of red onion and garlic with chunks of chicken. The adobo sauce is drizzled on toppings.

A Special Menu at Antonio's Tagaytay

I was invited to dine at Antonio's with one of their usual guests. For the welcome drink, they gave us mojito!

After travelling from Manila, a glass of cool, refreshing mojito beat the stress out of you.

for the appetizer, we had mixed greens with pomegranate and feta cheese.
and a roasted bell pepper and tomato soup. this creamy, sweet-sour soup tasted very good!

For one of the main entree, Chef Antonio suggested that we have his fresh flounder that was pan fried with olive oil. It was accompanied by cherry tomatoes, pine nuts, black olives and fried potatoes. This dish is very simple yet tasty!

a scoop of his home made green mango sorbet to cleanse our palate....

A rack of lamb with french beans and creamy polenta I really really liked his polenta! cheesy and creamy that compliments the lamb.

And for the dessert!!!! tadah!! chocolate souffle! I already poked the souffle to pour the chocolate sauce.

One of the best dining experience I had here in Antonio's! The place is cool and has clean air! It's good for relaxing from the busy Metro Manila...

Pepper Lunch - Powerplant Mall

I tried their weekday lunch promo with my sis and mom.

We ordered....

Super Value Steak Meal - the price is from P610 to P498. Comes with a drink, mashed potato, veggie, rice, juicy tender steak and you get to choose from miso soup, salad or ice cream. It's a must try and worth the price!

Curry Beef Rice - Unlike the previous curry rice we ordered before that you get to taste just a hint of curry, this one has 'curry paste' in the rice when you mix it.

Steak cut and Burger - This is always our order everytime we dine in here. 2 kinds of meat in one order!

What we usually do with our plain rice is that we mix it with the pepper rice while it is still hot and pour both honey brown and garlic soy sauce and sprinkle with black pepper! Instant Pepper rice for all of us! :D Then we get to share all our meat altogether!

Koryo - SM Skygarden

I was going from Sm North the Block to Trinoma by footbridge and I got attracted to the 'World famous garlic potatoes' their selling for just P55! So I bought one and tried it. I was expecting the powerful garlic taste but as I realized, it was a Korean-American food so it tasted sweet but still good. I like to eat potatoes especially fried with skin!

Sauce is sweet with sesame seeds, carrots and mayo?!? not sure.. But am craving for it. Too bad.. I don't usually go to Sm North...

Koryo is a restaurant that serves American/Korean family steak.

Rocky's @ Rockwell Club

We had lunch one Sunday here and ordered Beef Tapa, Corned Beef Hash, Cheesesticks and Tokwa't Tokwa.

Cheesticks.. one of my favorites! inside is cheese with bell peppers (pimiento)

tokwa't tokwa

Beef tapa is like their version of bacon. Thin, salty with curled fat.

We asked about their corned beef hash if it's homemade but they told us it's imported canned corned beef. anyway it's still good and tasty! What I like is that it's served with 2 eggs! :D Still, the best corned beef hash I tasted is UCC's, crispy!

Starbucks' molten lava cake

I would usually order their cinnamon roll but this Christmas season for a change, i tried their molten lava cake topped with whipped cream and drizzled with caramel sauce.

Fudgey, moist cake that makes you order and eat more! It was accompanied by my hot Toffee Nut Latte.

Eat Well! - the fort

We went at Eat Well @the fort one Sunday evening with my family. At 6:30pm, the ground floor was full already when we came. We had a reservation at the 2nd floor but they haven't prepared it so we had to wait outside where the were mosquitoes making fiesta to us. after 15 minutes of waiting, we had our table but as expected.. it's hot coz aircon just turned on.

We didn't like their service. As if they see no guests to attend to.. anyway.. good thing is that the food is good!

We ordered hot and sour soup. This is one of the best hot and sour soup I have ever tasted!
super sourly hot! I think they used chili garlic sauce to make it spicy.

Seafood Spinach Soup

followed by roast duck
Fatty though i liked the taste.

Taro Rice. Consists of Chinese sausage and taro that has been flavored with sweet soy sauce. One of a kind.

Siomai. should be 4 pcs.

Beef Broccoli

Three cup chicken.. this is my favorite! though you may see lots of chili, it's not the spicy at all..
Mint Ice Tea, so bland! Can't taste any mint in it. Tea was steeped for a long time that it's bitter already.

Shinjuku - Makati Ave.

(R)amen! I was so craving for ramen that day that we went to Shinjuku. For our pica-pica, they are proud for their 'famous' gyoza so we ordered one...

Nothing special but the portion of the gyoza is quite stuffed though for its price, it should be!

and for our ramen....

I ordered Beef Ramen. The sweet braised meat is quite tender. It somehow reminded me of eating Nissin's Beef Ramen the imported one but of higher quality and other stuffs! hahahha price is around 220?

Sis ordered Seafood Ramen. (Man ten ramen) I sure like this one better because of the thick sauce they had poured on the soup. Very tasty ! price is around 300?

Mom ordered Nabeyaki Ramen instead of udon. It has fully loaded with shrimp tempura, vegetable tempura, kani tempura and 2-3 whole pcs of shiitake mushroom! price is I think around 475?

Via Mare - Greenbelt

We were supposed to eat bibingka and pancit luglug for late merienda but as I saw the menu I was tempted to order for dinner instead...

I ordered Crispy Tapa.. Very crispy , crispier than bacon but the taste was not like of the salty tapa.

Sis ordered Arroz alla Cubana. Never fond of eating meals together with bananas.

Of course what you need to order here is their famous bibingka. But we were full already so we decided to have it taked out.

Romulo's Cafe

Ate dinner here with the whole family... We had reservations but outdoor already.. Sort of many mosquitoes there! anyway.. the place is a bit dark for us.. we only depended on the tea light candle on the table. As if we were having a brownout dinner But the food was great! I wasn't able to take pictures properly because the cellphone I used has no flash.

Crispy Talangka

Beef Salpicao

Beef SteakLemongrass Chicken.. the sauce blends well with the chicken..

Mang Inasal

Recently, Mang Inasal's chicken is getting quite smaller already... But then it's rice all you can and soup! The most cups of rice I had was 3 but I try not to eat too much rice already so I just have to stick to 1 1/2-2 cups :D. I make my dip with chili, soy, calamansi, and vinegar. I love their vinegar! And while the rice is steamingly hot, try pouring vinegar and chicken oil on it. This will make your meal more pleasantly delicious!

Syd's Kitchen - Banawe

Had dinner with my 2 friends here. It's RS's friends resto, so we tried it out. This restaurant is located in front of SOGO hotel. It has small space only...

Our appetizer - Kienchi Carpaccio Php 90-on top of sliced cucumber is thinly sliced beef kianchi topped with tomato salsa. Cute presentation

We ordered 2 pastas which is quite yummy.

The first is Hulk php190- An Asian chicken pesto but the chicken chunks for me is quite dry, it was hard to chew.

Next is Chili Crab Meat Spaghetti Php190 - We can really taste ample amount of crab meat with parsley and parmessan. Loved this dish! I don't know why they called it 'chili' crab coz I don't feel any heatness.

They also offer milk teas not the usual milk teas that uses powder to make it milky. You can choose from milk, yakult or soy milk. I ordered Sakura Php 85, it's green jasmine tea with soy milk. You will also choose what kind of jelly you like, black gulaman, white nata de coco i think, and black sago.. I was expecting the black sago chewy but it was the typical local sago but black.

Next batch of orders were...

Hakaw Php95 which I forgot to take a picture..

Syd's Original Chick Php300 - Perfectly cooked and seasoned! Serves with a shot of wasabi mayo dip.. but I think there's something missing with the dip that does not blend with the chicken. though 6 pcs of chicken (3 wings and 3 legs) is worth the price!

Hey Syd! I hope when I go visit your store again, I'd have discount okay?! :D
