Teriyaki Boy - Banawe

I had dinner with my parents last July 25,2010 at Teriyaki Boy. We were supposed to eat at Gerry's Grill but I have been craving for their tuna tartare for weeks already! My usual orders were Tempura Tuna Tartare and Philly Cheesesteak Roll but decided to order Dynamite roll @P190 instead. I like maki!

Tempura Tuna Tartare @138 had lesser portion already! Too bad! I super really liked this one though.

Tori Furai @P138 had no taste at all! didn't like the sauce too.. so I just dipped it with soy sauce with wasabi.

Unagi Kabayaki @ P 390 was ok. The glazed was a little too sweet for me. Was supposed to order Shake Teriyaki but it's out of stock..

@P48 Yakimeshi's flavor was a bit bland but it's ok coz our dishes have sauces to cover up our rice.

And my last order was tofu Steak @P155 which was my mom's favorite! It smells good.

Staffs here are friendly and entertaining. I would definitely go back to Teriyaki Boy! I hope they'll make my favorite Tuna Tartare a bigger portion! ;)

Overall, We had a great rainy dinner at Teriyaki Boy Banawe!

Wild Ginger - Rockwell

My sis kept on telling me that Wild Ginger's laksa is better than Banana Leaf. So she took me there one night and tried their curry laksa chicken @ P205 which is one of their specialties. Their spice is strong for me but at least you can assure that it was made from real herbs and spices! However their noodles is rice, I think. Which is not my type for my laksa. But it taste good.

My sis order Nasi Goreng @P225 . It has already 3 sticks of Satay and a fried egg on top of rice. I tried it out but the rice was not flavorful. As if they just put a little dark sauce. the color was pale.

Before we have been there already and we ordered kare kare, crispy tawilis, yellow rice, and red highland rice. So far eating at Wild Ginger is satidfying even if the serving is a little bit small.

Sango! The Burger Master - Rockwell

Around some time last year, we were supposed to eat at Cibo when we saw Sango for the first time. We decided to try it out... Too many burger choices to choose from and wasn't sure what to try.. haha..

Sis ordered Master Chili Cheese Burger @175. It's a small burger if compared to its price. It has its special master sweet meat sauce on it. Sauce is fine but when you take a bite on the burger it becomes messy! Burger's taste is so-so...

Mine was Chicken cheese burger. McChicken is better and cheaper! Our drinks were Green tea shake whick is ok and Iced milk tea which was too sweet! I need to pour water in my cup again and again.
Of course I won't miss ordering fries! I ordered their regular Master Fries. The sauce is same with the Master Burger which is sweet again. Brother's Burger is way better than Sango!
I wasn't satisfied with their menu....

Mongkok Restaurant - Rockwell

I was craving for dimsum, so my sis and I went to Mongkok. Well, some of my friends told me that their food recently are not that good already. I didn't mind coz I want dimsum!!! MSG!!! I was going to order lots of dimsum but my sis wants to eat rice.

Instead of ordering the usual Yang Chow, we ordered Seafood Fried Rice and I did't regret ordering it. Fried rice was moist and lots of seafood w/ sauce on it. Love the taste of it especially if you put chili sauce on the fried rice...

Followed by siomai, chicken feet and shrimp dumpling (our favorite dimsum)

and to make our meal 'healthier', an order of kailan w/oyster sauce.

So far, the food is good but with a bad service. It took about 10 minutes just to give
our bill and another 5 minutes for the credit card transaction! Good thing i'm stuffed already ;)

Chewy Junior

I ran into Chewy Junior when my sis and I went to Singapore in a mall connecting to their MRT Bugis station. We was so curious when everytime we passed by, people would fall in line to buy their product. So on our last day in Singapore, we didn't let it pass, so we bought 2 of their 'chocolatey' flavor and brought it to our hotel and tried it out. At first bite, wow it was really chewy and I liked the flavor. I believe that 1 pc is about SG$1.20 ?(not sure)... Chewy Junior Singapore

After a week, I was craving for it! I researched it and was surprised that there was already a branch here in Trinoma which was opened a year ago?... Anyway, so I bought 1 dozen with different flavors like Choco almonds (which was my fav!), Cheeselover, Peanut, Strawberry and Blueberry Cheesecakes.

Choco Almond

Peanut and Cheeselover
I am a BIG fan of Chewy Junior that everytime I go to Trinoma I wouldn't miss buying a dozen. But recently, their toppings are getting smaller portions already and the cream puff does not have constant sizes. I hope that the management would have a constant quality of their products... ;(

Orchard Road @ SM Megamall

My sis and I went to SM Megamall. While we were shopping, we passed by a new restaurant. At first glance, we both want to try eating lunch at Orchard Road. Orchard Road = Singapore Food! = YUMYUMYUM!!! It's a pay as you order counter but the place is nice! Sorry forgot to take pictures inside the resto.. hehe

My sister ordered Hainanese chicken with rice @ P155 i think. Well, I tasted it and there isn't anything exciting about it. Didn't like their ginger sauce as well. But the portion is big enough for the starved ones.

And I ordered their version of laksa @145. The soup is delicious but I didn't like their rice noodles. Egg noodles with laksa soup is best combination for me. :) So far the best Laksa soup i ever tasted at a reasonable price is at Banana Leaf Asian Cafe.

Carrot cake A.K.A raddish cake @ P125 sharing. The cake is very soft that it breaks off easily when I use the chopstick. It does not have any taste also. Mas gusto ko pa ung itlog eh.. malasa.

Had also shrimp dumpling A.K.A 'hakaw' @99. Taste good with their chili sauce. Actually I had an extra request for chili sauce pa. Super sarap! Parang shrimp sambal na ndi ganun ka spicy.

I ordered their bandung 'rose milk' ok lng naman.. refreshing and mabango. My sis ordered chin chow. Una curious kami ano ang chin chow?! So I asked their staff about it.. black gulaman lang pala! hehehe.. 'chin chow chang' kc tawag namin sa bahay eh...

Anyway.. maybe we ordered the wrong menu.. Maybe next time when we go back there, order kme different menu nila.. sana satisfying naman..
